FAQ

Common questions

Is this legal advice?
No. Gig Clause is software, not a law firm and not a professional service. No attorney is involved in reviewing your contract, drafting your agreement, or answering your questions, it's all automated analysis based on a curated corpus, meant to prepare you to negotiate, not to replace legal counsel. It does not create an attorney-client relationship. For high-stakes contracts, consult a licensed attorney.
What happens to my contracts?
They're stored so you can keep a history and share reports, unless you check "don't save this" on a review, which skips the database entirely. You can hard-delete any review instantly, export or delete everything at once from your dashboard, and reviews run without an account are auto-purged after 7 days.
Do you collect payment from my clients?
No. The invoice you can generate from a signed contract is a document, print or save it as a PDF, the same way the contract itself works. Marking it paid or unpaid is for your own records. Gig Clause doesn't process, hold, or move money on your behalf.
Is Agency a multi-user team plan?
Not yet, it's one login with room for a full client roster: far higher monthly ceilings and a larger character limit per contract than Solo, not shared seats or logins for multiple people. If you need real multi-user accounts, tell us, it's the top item we're weighing for the next tier.
Which contracts does it handle?
Design, development, marketing, copywriting, video, and consulting agreements, plus MSAs and mutual NDAs. More types are added regularly, with a real changelog.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, one click in the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Paying annually saves about 17% versus paying monthly, roughly 2 months free. Choose it with the toggle above. To switch between monthly and annual afterward, use the billing portal or contact us.
