1. Free plan
The Free plan never charges you, there is nothing to refund on it. Try the reviewer or the contract builder with no card at all before deciding on a paid plan.
2. Charges are final
Once a charge on the Solo or Agency plan is processed, whether it’s your first payment or a renewal, it is final and non-refundable. We don’t offer refunds, prorated or otherwise, for a subscription you’ve already been billed for, including if you stop using the service partway through a billing period. Please make sure a plan is the right fit, using the Free plan first, before upgrading.
3. Who processes payments
All payments are processed by Paddle.com, who is the merchant of record for every charge, Paddle is the seller you’re billed by. Gig Clause never sees or stores your card details.
4. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime, self-serve, from the Paddle customer portal linked in your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal charge, it does not refund the current billing period. You keep full access to your plan’s features through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then it simply doesn’t renew, no further charges, no action needed after you cancel.
5. Annual plans
The same rule applies to annual plans: cancelling stops the plan from renewing next year, but we don’t refund the unused months of a term you’ve already paid for. You keep access for the full year you paid for regardless of when during that year you cancel.
6. Plan changes
Moving from Solo to Agency mid-period bills the difference through Paddle immediately, that charge is final under section 2 the same as any other. Moving down a plan, or to Free, takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately, you keep your current plan’s features until then and we don’t refund the difference for time already used on the higher plan.
7. Where local law requires otherwise
Some jurisdictions grant consumers a refund or withdrawal right that can’t be limited by a policy like this one. Nothing here overrides a right you have under applicable law, if you believe that applies to you, contact us and we’ll handle it in line with the law that actually governs your purchase.
